The Israeli Ministry of the Interior (Misrad Hapnim) requires a criminal background check for all Aliyah applicants. Authenticated criminal background checks are required for all Olim ages 14 and up, regardless of where they are making Aliyah from. (Certain exceptions do apply, please check with your Aliyah advisor before beginning the process).

You can expect to receive your results, including the apostille, within four to six weeks from the time of fingerprinting. NBN Connect manages this waiting period for you by monitoring your status, notifying you of any delays, and allowing you to focus on preparing for your move.
